External Service Providers at School
St Andrew’s Catholic Primary School will continue to support parents/guardians who wish to engage external service providers during school hours when their child requires additional health, therapy or wellbeing support. However, entry and access to the school is always at the discretion of the Principal. Please note that whilst we will make every endeavour to accommodate the request for the delivery of services at school, we cannot guarantee it. We are required to consider a number of factors including the student’s educational and wellbeing needs, the school’s ability to provide appropriate facilities for therapy and the ability of the student to access the service outside of school hours.
In accordance with CEWA guidelines and procedures, parents/guardians must request for the delivery of external services at school by using the “Request to School for Clinical Access” form. You can access the form on this page or obtain a copy from the office. Please note that all requests MUST be made by the parent/guardian and not by the external service provider.
Following the parent request, the Principal will make a decision regarding it. If the request is granted, a Third-Party Clinical Access Agreement will be completed by the service provider, parent and school. Before being granted access to work with any child, the service provider will be required to complete certain legal requirements.
